At home anxiously awaiting a cylinder change for my door since certain people are not trustworthy these days. I am not a thief and couldn’t steal at all because it is just not in me but, some people do it everyday like a common job. Its very sad that this is the world we live in. Just yesterday in the morning around 7am, right outside my window, a man got shot down at the bus stop. I was shocked and amazed that something like this could happen so fast and for justice to not be immediately served, I was more upset about the incident. I was still in my bed when I heard the sounds of shots being fired. I heard two shots then a brief pause and then another two shots with a brief pause. At this point I decided to get out of the bed and see what was going on. When I looked out the window I saw a woman at the bus stop along with a housing development worker. I saw the woman screaming and crying while a man was on the ground near the fence. I thought the man was hurt and felt so bad. I was about the call the police when I saw that the housing worker was already on the phone with a 911 person. I have never seen something like this happen so close to my home. This is very scary and not safe at all. This was at exactly 7am, which is the time where people are outside trying to get to work or school. The man was on the ground for 5mins and then I started seeing the blood pouring out of him onto the sidewalk like a puddle. My significant other was with me at the time and he also saw this happening. I knew the man wasn’t going to make it when all his blood started pouring out onto the sidewalk trailing towards the curb. The fire department was right across the street yet they took 10 minutes to come, which I thought was unacceptable. The 75th precinct police department was even worse in their time because it took them from 30mins to and hour to get over here. The woman that was at the bus stop was hysterical… crying and screaming. I still have a chill from the whole incident. I saw when they covered him up with the sheet and when the detectives came. A few detectives came and knocked on my door and asked me if I saw what happened and I told them that I heard the shots fired. I also saw when the channel 12 news van came and parked outside my building. This is such a scary unsafe world we live in that sometimes you ask yourself….”When will it end? “. Well I hope that I get the money, the knowledge, and the courage to get my family out of Brooklyn one day .

I know I am late for the Music Monday and I also have missed the previous one but, things have been in a spiral lately. My life has required a lot of thinking,planning,and most of all work. I am starting college classes within the next two weeks and everything is really hectic. It is hard trying to prepare for college and take care of the new changes in my home at the same time. I love to stay organized and have things a certain way but, that is hard to do when you have a new body in the picture. By this new body I do mean my new boo who is my friend & lover right now. I trust him more than any other man since most men find it so easy to up and leave woman with no thought and no words. I am happy with him and hope that things continue to go well for us. Anyways, my new Music Monday song is “Charles Hamilton- Brooklyn Girls”. I love this song because it makes me think about the good parts of having a summer in Brooklyn. I also love the beat of this song and the guy’s headphones are cool.

Well lately I have been busy updating my myspace and finding other online resources for money. I have also been working on a few designs and constructing a site for a friend of mine. Buttons, widgets, codes, images, content, graphics, and all the things that make a site interesting. I am kinda tired of the internet world a little because, I have been online like 24/7 lately. Yes, I know I need a break which I will be taking this weekend to be away from the blogging, networking, and blah blah blah. I am just hoping that my efforts to produce more income from other secret resources will pay off sooner than later. Well today I am going to be running a few errands and wont be home for a few. I did get to have a nice relaxing day at the park the other day with my son which was fun for me as well.

I love my son dearly because, his smile and upbeat attitude always make me feel more confident. I think that with all the new relationship changes in my life and, the previous heartbreak that I was left with after that butthead played me, seems to me that I’m doing better. I am happier now and less stressed since I have moved on from that butthead. I actually have someone who is more worth my time in my life and we have an open relationship which is better for me because, I like 100% honesty no bs. He has been an incredible lover and more so, I am not thinking about spilled milk anymore. I’ too busy drinking a fresh sexy glass of milk. lol.

Hi ! Music Monday-ers.

Well the music video that I choose for Music Monday is Rhianna ft. Justin Timberlake: Rehab. I love this video because I really felt the lyrics and it really spoke to me when I was having some deep thoughts about my relationship with someone. I know what it feels like to have your whole life and way of thinking changed by someone. I also know what it feels like to feel like you need to check into Rehab from someone who is like a disease. I liked this song because it said to me that “there are other women that feel the way you do”. sometimes relationships can be too hard on people because other people totally disregard their feelings. Here are a few 125 x 125 advertising badges that I have designed. My inspiration came from seeing other great blogs with some interesting badges. I also got inspired by the confusion from Entrcard’s new Paid Ads feature, which from my understanding does not pay bloggers. If you check out my blog at mslovely101.com you will see a previous posting where I was asking for help from fellow bloggers about a few of my concerns with the “new paid ads” by Entrecard. Personally as for me and my blog, I will not be accepting any paid Entrecard ads because they limit the regular Entrecard ads of the other users. I love using Entrecard for the great amount of social networking it allows bloggers to do because, I have met a lot of bloggers so far through Entrcard. I love my Bloggy Friends!

Here is a preview of the layout after I re-designed it. Although I didn’t do much to it except add a third column because it was a two column template. I also added a nice divider and background image to give it a little color besides pink, even though I love pink. If you want feel free to use it. I was just bored and wanted to see what this template could look like with 3 columns instead of two. This template is supposed to be for blogger. Tell me what you think.

Daily Tiring Chores/Tasks that drive me crazy !

I have been feeling so tired and drained these last few days. I have been cleaning, typing, and running back and forth. Last night I was so upset and physically beat that I caught a horrible pain in my left leg and then had a limp. I couldn’t take anymore so I went in the shower to try to wash my stress & pain away. I actually wanted to take a hot relaxing bath but, I did not feel like performing my “cleaning the tub ritual“ so, I settled for a shower. It’s a shame because my so-called significant other ( I will not say boyfriend) noticed my pain and did nothing. Sure he asked me what was wrong but after I told him he still paid me no mind and offered no assistance. Sigh….was a girl to do? Wherever the romantic and sweet guys are they need to step up and help a sista out!

This pain that I have in more than physically it is mentally with all kinds or emotional and financial stress.

You remember that “Terminator” movie, the first second one when he was chasing the kid? At the end part after the enemy advanced terminator was destroyed, Arnold said ” I need a vacation”. DAMN, thats how I felt last night, like my leg had been ripped off by a machine and like my face was peeling! LOL.

I just really hope I get some good luck coming my way.

Are you a ‘Big Love’ fan ?

Yes I am a Big Love fan and I love the show. I think it is very educational to those of us who are not experienced with Polygamy. I am not against Polygamy based on the Big Love show. I realize that there is a lot of controversy over the abuse of young girls in polygamy. I am against the abuse of young girls which happens all over the world and not just within one religion,belief, or group of people.

I love the characters on the Big Love show and think that their family is very cool regardless of the hard times they experience. I think Bill is a good man and find it amazing that he holds his family with such high regards. I do believe that it is possible for one man to satisfy more than one woman. I am not a polygamist but, the unity that is represented on Big Love definitely makes me think.

I love Barb’s character the most because she is the strongest of the women and I have the highest respect for her character. I am sure that many women can relate to Barb’s character in having to be there for everyone in the family. I appreciate Barb’s strength and wisdom. I think Nikki has “issues” and needs a good kick. I think Margene is caring, considerate, & a wonderful mother.

I can’t wait to see the next episode of Big Love. I will be so sad when the season ends. there are a lot of Big Love fans out there that love the show and I think it is very informative as well as controversial. Big love is a show that has so much family unity that it leaves you breathless. I think that the love the Bill has for his family is wonderful. Why can’t more men be more family oriented like Bill ??
